Ok, here is the thing. As stated above, most bdu cammo is surplus. THerefor your gonna have the stars and stripes backwards, and i am NOT going to rip the American Flag off a military uniform... That seems wrong to me. I got my uniform from Sgt. Jackson US Army. He gave them to me and said i could play paintball in em as long as i didnt act like an idiot and make the uniform look bad.

That said, i would like to point out that i was in USACC ( US Army Cadet Corps) and will be joing up with the Marine Corps as soon as i finish school; I have nothing but respect for the men and women who serve, and i am in no way impersonating them by wearing the flag backwards... I just 1) like having a flag on my shoulder(i love that flag) and 2) think that there is something wrong about ripping a flag off a uniform.

Also, even though you probably wont read it, i would like to say thank you to Marine Machine for his service, as well as any other service men or vets who read this thread. I have nothing but gratitude for what you have given for our freedom.

ok i live outside of fort rucker alabama and my dad owns fields the military plays there alot and i play in full uniform flags patches camo all the way and not onces has any of them said anything about it so i dont see what the big deal is its not like your walking around saying you been to war or claming to be in military there just looking for that mil sim look and im leaving for basic soon for the national guard so that will be my uniform and like the guy above its wrong to pull the flag off the uniform and no matter what way the flags facing its still american

As far as my personal opinion on what people who wear patches that haven't earned them look like is that they are over kill. I mean come on, its paintball not war.

The way I see it, if you are playing paintball, no sweat. BUT, if you are walking around all the time, pretending to be a vet, then yeah, I might have a problem with it.
