Hey everyone, i decided to make a new thread for this since its coming up and i cant find the other one.

Hey all, just thought i would let you all in on one of the best scenarios in the world, thats right WI DDay.

Yeah for those of you who dont know i'll lay it out for you. Combat paintball owns a huge junkyard that used to be a gravel pit. We have been playing there for 5 or so years now so there isnt that many safety hazards. CCmilitary comes out and sets up a pro shop and we have paint for sale, last year we gave away around 30 cases right at the beginning and we had 130 players or so so you had a 1 in like 4 chance to win a free case of paint. It starts Friday night for paintballers. We have a ton of mortar fireworks (over a hundred, i had to untie all the fuses) and a ton of red parachutes. Throw in some fog and spot lights and its awesome. The red parachutes light up the whole junkyard with an eerie red glow. Anyways the Americans start at one end of the junkyard, and at the other end is a huge cliff that is around 50 ft high in some places. The Americans have to take the cliff (which varies in size, from steep to a minor slope) in 3 hours i believe, then they switch sides. We had a camera out there recording it (a pro guy) and we taped a few speedball events (if anyone is interested in the video pm me) Anyways there is then a camping area for those of you who want to. The Germans have their own base with paint, CA, and CO2. Its automatic reinsertion. Once the Americans take the reinsertions point they win the round and switch sides. My team was the only to hold the hill for 3 hours. Its so intense. In 3 hours i shot my hopper and 11 pods, and i was being conservative. There is so many people to shoot at. There were guys that played the whole weekend and shot 10 or 12 cases. Then that night and the next day we do airsoft.

Prices: $35 registration! Includes air and its BYOP!
Paint: $44 a case for rec-sport. We usually have hellfire/gold for $65 and maybe Blaze for $55 and sometimes also we get Marbalizer for $65.

If you look verrrrrrry carefully you may note in the title the initials WI, which doesn't stand for wode island. Combat Paintball is in Deer Park Wisconsin - in the northwest part of the state. About equidistant from Eau Claire and Minneapolis.

Evolkers2003 - it may be a good idea to post WHEN this event is scheduled to occur as well.

If I were home on leave, I would be there.

Why thank you medic. Im very surprised (unless you googled it) that you know where deer park is. You from around here (West sconi')? But yea, Combat is about 1 - 1 1/2 hours north of Eau Claire.

I am from Tomahawk -- Just about 1 1/2 hours east of Deer Park on Highway 8.

Course I am about 12,000 miles away at the moment.

This would be fun just to mess around at. I don't know if I'll be back by then, though.. Is there a decent amount of people that aren't decked out in face paint and milsim guns?

EDIT: 35 bucks for registration.. what are the other prices? paint? air? etc?

EDIT:EDIT: NVM, checked out the site. For those interested, 35 is entry and air. BYOP. I don't know if this was covered in your post or not, just puttin it out there.

Yea, we usually have rec-sport for $44 a case, and a higher and hellfire or so for $65. I know last year we stocked blaze for $55 and marbs for $65 but we really havnt stocked that this year. And yes, there are a good amount of people not decked out in scenario stuff. I know most of our speedball team plays if they arnt working. As a matter o fact there was hardly any milsim guns last year. I know we hope to be getting over 200 people this year. This is the 3rd one we have ever done and the first year we had about 60, then word spread about how much fun it was and last year we had about 140. Im sure if you come check it out you wont be dissopointed, no matter what format you like. The junkyard combines the best aspects of speedball with that of the woods.

I beleive that the prices are some of the best anywhere. 1 1/2 days of paintball action, as much air as you can get, camping, and a chance to win a free case of paint for $35. Plus paint prices are good enough so you dont have to worry about killing the wallet (rec-sport is very good paint for the price)

Anyone in the St. Paul/Minn area can easly make this event, it's only about an hour to an hour and a half away from the twin cities area. Anyone in Wisconsin/minnisota should really think about coming to this event.

I played as a german for the first round (and we also held the hill but volkers wasn't there yet) and than distroyed it the next 3 rounds as an american!
