Oklahoma Dday 2008
4th Infantry Division
Still one of the newest units at
Oklahoma Dday in only its third year, the 4th Infantry Division will be hitting the hardest beach, Utah Beach. In both previous years, the 4th Infantry Division has taken its beach. In '06, they were the only beach unit to gain any points, and last year, took the beach in under an hour. We will once again be close to 400 people in total this year with tank support and the navy to support us on our beach. We will also have support from the 101st Airborne, 82nd Airborne, 899th Blackcats, and the sniper units.
We are looking for individuals, family's, teams, or just about anyone from speedballers to seasoned and new woodsball players. This year is our most organized, we have a very experienced command staff, and are ready to fight our way up the hill even quicker this year than last.
This unit is commanded by Farris from Georgia, and myself from Texas, with two regiments including heavy gunners, fast chargers, and support groups with anti tank and heavy equipment. Lots of changes have been made this year in this unit, and we are looking forward to a repeat victory.
The navy unit on our beach, will be laying down our main suppression fire with un-contestable force. The Allied tanks will start from this area and will give us cover while we open the road for them to proceed to the rest of the field, where they will rain havoc on the German forces.
So come join the 4th ID at Oklahoma Dday this year in 2008, the biggest and the best.

Objectives
Land at Utah Beach and secure a beachhead there. Eliminate German resistance in your sector and proceed inland to link up with elements of the 101st Airborne to secure Causeway #2 to advance the armored forces of the U.S. 2nd Armored Division.
You will be securing the northern flank of the invasion. SHAEF G-2 (Intelligence) reports Utah Beach is defended by German 709th Infantrie-Division. SHAEF G-3 (Operations) plans for the 4th ID to hit the Tare Green and Uncle Red sectors of Utah Beach with both the 8th and the 12th Infantry Regiments, accompanied by the 899th Blackcats Tank Destroyers.
Move inland with the 3rd Armored Division and secure the Causeway#2 then link up with the US Airborne, French Resistance and Free French No. 10 Commandos.
Once the beachhead at Utah and the access of Causeway #2 is secure, you will proceed inland under direction of the Allied Command to secure other objective areas. G-2 (SHAEF Intelligence Office) reports elements of the 91st Luftlande-Division are stationed at the Airfield, with other unknown supporting units. Expect the heavy presence from the German 21st Panzer Division and German Anti-Tank forces in your area.
