Anything and everything: guns, gear, sidearms, you name it
Guns- Anything. Any gun that works for "speedball" or any sort of other paintball you play now will work fine in the woods.
Gear- Mask (anything with thermal lenses) but i prefer green things. But their is 1 thing i like for woodsball, and thats a good vest. I use the crap out of the vest i have now every time i go woodsballing.
Sidearms - no needed, its more for visuals than anything if you want one...all show. You will never use it for real unless you make a point to.
i use a autococker i have a vest that carry 18 tubes you can use whatever gun you want and then some games i am a sniper so i used a pump and i made my own ghillie suit are team use radios to talk i dont use a sidearm i use a air launcher if there anything els let me know
just paintball vests, used to hold all your gear, plus usually other features like camel backs, air tank holders, rubber shoulders for stocks etc. Their are tons of companies that make them, UTG, Furry, RAP-4, Tippmann, etc.
ehh, just go out in your speedball gear if thats what you got, thats what i do, im out there in blue and black speedball pants and jeresy with slider pants under, a blue and black events and a sandana
camo is over rated, knowing when to move is more important. if your familiar to speedball you should do fine, most dedicated woodsball players can not handel a game that you press the pace on, if you have others on a woodsball team that are used to speedball as well play the game like a speedball game, sprint for good cover way up the field at the begining and spred out, press the pace from there and just use the knowlege you already have. on the other side of things if it is a large field you will have to learn when to move, unlike speedball in a situation like this it is not always best to be moving up the field, take small movements, keep very quiet and pause behind cover every once in a while to listen and see if you can hear anyone else. if you can hear someone else do not move untill you know where they are. stealth is a large advantage.
i wouldnt worry about carrying any extra gear beyond pods and a swab unless its a big game, iv never had to bring my camelback out on the field

I personally don't have any experience in scenario, (Will July 12th) but I do know of a BL supported scenario team called Total Insanity. Their philosophy is that if you are close enough to be shot shot then you are close enough to be seen. They shoot bright purple Bob Long's i wanna say they are closers and have bright purple pants and jersey. Overall, just go in your speedball gear that's what i'm planning on doing. Good Luck!
I was playing earlier today in my jeans and a jersey that a friend let me use. It rained early this morning, so everything was muddy. After both games I was covered in mud. Mud was my camouflage. It apparently worked because I wasn't hit either round.
I use jeans, a jersey, and a vest, and that suits me well. I also wear boots if the terrain is really uneven. Dark colors over camo in my opinion...even then it's not that big of deal. My mask is black with burnt orange vents and people still have a hard time seeing me.
