A man sits in his home in The Adirondacks, watching the news and admiring his work. For 10 years he has been perfecting the Peruvian Monkey Blood Virus and distributing it to the public. Half a million people from around the world, dead in less than 36 hours. The world is in a panic as the obvious pandemic shows no signs of slowing. The CDC and USAMRIID are working tirelessly trying to identify the pathogen, and destroy it. Now, even a virologist with USAMRIID has died due to the virus.
The world needs a hero. Victor "Kamikazee" Tremont, the deputy director for a large pharmecutical company, may be that man. During a test of their rapid production equipment, it seems as thought he may have stumbled onto the cure for the virus, and has a stockpile of it available for sale to the worlds governments.
Only, one small problem, Victor "Kamikazee" Tremont, is the same man who for 10 years has been pouring the Virus into his drugs, poisoning the worlds population. Intelligent and Ruthless, he has eliminated everyone who has stood in the way of his perfect plan coming to fruition. Including his latest victim, Sophia Russel, a virologist with USAMRIID.
After returning home to Washington D.C., Lt. Col. John "Hammer" Smith, discovers his dead fiance, Sophia Russel. With the help of an unusual team, including Marty Zelerbach - an autistic computer genius, Randi Russel- a CIA operative, and Peter Howell - an Ex SAS and MI6 agent, John "Hammer" Smith, begins to uncover the truth about the virus, it's origins, and even it's first victims.
Now, in a race around the world, and with time working against both men, who will be victorious in bringing the antidote to the world. Lt.Col. John "Hammer" Smith who wants nothing more than vengence for his fiance, or Victor "Kamikazee" Tremont who wants to extort billions from the world.
