Post TANKS, How to build, Being built, Share info.

One of my loves in the Paintball sport is that of TANKS!
So I am looking to build one, don't know what kind yet.

As far as engines go I hear a minimum of 6.5HP can work, but, 10HP is what you should shoot for.
But alas I cannot afford to build an Engine run contraption, nor am I going to try to build tracks.

The other options I have is to use a pedal bike like a 4 wheeler. A two seater side by side could work. I am not sure how this could work out, with gear ratios, and what not. The build would have to take into consideration bumpy terrain, hills, and various other obstacles that are sure to come up and cause problems.
One large unknown, is gear ratios, speed, and power (or torque), and how to set them up, or if it can be made to even work at all. Given the craft be made light enough, and not even taking into consideration, ammo, or the type(s) of anti personal Markers/Sabbot Shots. Advice on this would be most help full.

I'm thinking it dose not have to be fast, but it needs to be geared (even using multiple gears with a shifter) to handle semi ruff terrain.

Another option would be a sort of "Push Box" type. Were it would be kind of a glorified box on wheels. Its the easiest, cheapest, fastest, but probably not the most comfortable .

I would like to ask anyone interested in small tank building to voice there ideas here, anything you want, on mechanics, markers to be used, best "cannon" setup, body design etc..

Plans, ideas, setups for frame, types of tanks to emulate if desired, original layout ideas, popular materials and pics of some of the things you might be working on would be fun to share here.

p.s. paintball tanks go with scenario play, so I think it will be accepted here, as there is no other building/mechanical forum.

There was a video, I think on WarPIG TV that talked about different tanks in scenario play, and one was a push type

Tank Video IN this Vid he talks about the rules associated with driving a tank in addition to some ideas for your tank, whether it be shooting or not. He also says that when he played paintball, tanks were just basically "armored" golf carts.
