scenario question

This may be a dumb question, but i am just getting into paintball, and havent been to a big scenario. When you buy a case of paint, you fill up a few pods, but then there is a lot of paint left in your case. where do you keep the paint that is left over until you need more? are there lockers or something similar? i would think if it was just laying there somewhere someone would either steal it or even just mistakenly take some thinking that its their case or something

I've got a big smart bin I keep my gear in and I pad lock it when im playing. From the experiences I've had no one will really mess with your stuff unless its blatantly spread out.

you dont want to put your gear on display, as someone might NEVER think of taking your gear even if it is out of your bag. but if it is out, near them, and the chance is right, they could do something they wouldnt normally do if given that chance. you could tape up your box and put it away, or get a paintball caddy and put it away, or something along those lines.

Get you some sort of heavy duty container. I only use my bin to store my gear at home or at scenario's. When I'm casually playing I bring the gear I need in duffel bags. Someone could still take my whole bin, yet they would looks suspicious attempting to carry it off.

I usually leave my extra markers and air tanks in the car, and try to only have a tool box and a case of paint laying around in the staging area while I'm on the field.

Bring what you need. Do the tuning and drop whatever you don't need back into the car. It's not worth leaving anything around these days. The motto is: Don't trust anyone. And yes, it's better to walk back and store your items than risk them being stolen.
