I attend some relatively smaller local scenarios here in New England (average about 500 players total) and I haven't seen a huge amount of such behavior. What I have seen instead is massive amounts of friendly fire, which pisses the living hell out of me.

I don't understand how anyone, even a little 12 year old, could think I'm on the opposite side when I'm standing 150ft away, looking the same direction he is (at least until I notice his paintballs flying by my head), and my armband clearly in view. What's even more confusing is how he will continue to fire even after I start yelling at him and waving my arms. Often I will just ignore such kids and walk out of range since they can't aim for their life, especially when they're longballing at me with a rental tippy...

There is nothing worse than a paintballer being afraid of being hit , when i first started playing i was a little nervous about getting hit but i wasnt deathly afraid. I find it fun being hit I like pain.......its exciting.

I havent been to a senario game yet....i have to go, it sounds like a buttload of fun

While i was at the grand finale (2005, my first scenario) i didnt notice too much of this besides the people hiding in the city, and that problem was soon solved when the jedi began assaulting it with a large percentege of their team. I'll admit at one point at the start on the second day i was hesitent to move forward because i ran off start and was the only sith on the east side of the feild while i was rocking my phantom. Some jedi stopped up the road from me after seeing me and stayed there. Very soon after a scenario team showed up (which had this guy i became freinds with after holding off a small little building from an undending stream of opponents for 15 minutes.) and i moved with them for a bit.

i went to a scenario last year and i got stuck with a ton of people that didnt know nothing about paintball. the older players stuck me with them because i was one of the youngest there, but it got to the point where i would just shoot my teammatess because either they would realize it wont hurt or they would quit and we could get rid of the people holding us down. this year im getting my frend and his brother, who can drive, and teir 6 frends and were all going to a d day reneactment and were just gonna stay together

All I play is Scenarios and I love it. I play for the Blackhearts paintball team in the SouthEast. I'm the team medic, however I'm getting tired of it. It's fun when you have something to do but when your team is pushing and kicking ass you have to stay back because you are no good to the team getting shot. But big games are fun, more targets to shoot but I much prefer smaller ones. I have played 2 games down here with right at or a little over 100 people and they were both by far the best games I have ever played. By the time the dinner break comes around you practically know everyone and each side and you have even more fun that night and the next day. Plus in the smaller games it is ALOT easier to sort out the bad players. Like the huge fat guys that can't fit behind a tree so you light them up and watch them wipe it all off, then you call a ref and let him watch it too lol.

Yes I see what you guys are talking about in these big scenarios (like skirmish) I am almost always the first or second out into the fire. I really don't like the fact when you yell at the guys sitting behind the bunkers about half a mile away from the action and they just sit there I really hate it.

I am new to scenerio and havent played in any events yet but me and a few o my close friends play at a field with a lot of players with a lot aof experience and we love it so much we are trying to set up our own team and the whole getting shot thing it doesnt hurt at all we love it! This sport is truely own of the best things i have ever taking up in my life i have played a few of the most popular sports and none of them makes my heart double pump as does paintball! It gives me a rush that I have never gotten before and i cant wait to play in an organized scenerio! If you pros out there have any good advice for a bunch of rookies trying to come up please hit me up and share that!

i seriously think im the only one in my town that isnt scared of getting hit...........because i have a field in my woods with lotsa cover and i got mad people close to every one in the town that plays came so i had like 150 people and i 4get how we set it up but i somehow got stuck with a hole bunch of kids that wuld group up in a squad and go in groups away from the direction of the pbs........so it was me n like 15 othre kids that werent scared n we actually won.....and all those kids that were bein pussies all got shot.......so u just got 2 deal wit it sumtimes .....hey u nvr kno mayb itll get better 4 all of us
