Greetings,
First i would like to say that the title is to grab attention, i am not for or against Tippmann. All i want to know is if the 98 commando f/x is a good buy.
(for scenrio games only.)
I would like to know pros and cons.
Also i am interested in anything the anyone has to say about the Sim-4 or other Armor-Tech guns.

You can customize it a lot if you get it. Cons are is that it is a really sucky gun without upgrades.

I have a question.When you play scenario do you have to have a gun that looks real or could you bring like a timmy if you wanted?

ok well the proteam stuff is pretty good. I mean i woudl rather do it piece by piece. Oh oh there make a 6 position stock now. It is more liek the m4 stock look at it at opsgear.com i think thats where i saw it. If you only play senerio go for it.

Proteam stuff is crap. You can use any gun in scenario. Tippmanns dont look like military guns at all. God, I could put a body kit on my cell phone and it would look more realistic.

well at least the 98. I've seen some pretty amazing mil-sim a-5 stuff, so if u want a real gun look a-5 is the way to go.

The A5 loks REMOTELY like an MP5 PDW. Geek, if yo think the 98c looks realistic, you've obviously never helf a real colt M16/M4 style weapon.

The 98c reciever is WAY too skimpy to look like an M16/M4 reciever. The A5 is too short to look like an M16/M4. However, it does look a bit more like an MP5 reciever.

Tippmann = NOT MILSIM.

Ariakon/armotech/Rap4= Milsim

Putting a body kit on a 98c to make it look like a real gun is like putting a Playstation sticker on a N64 and saying its a PS2.

If you want a Mil-Sim MP5 Paintball gun, Why not go with the Ariakon SIM-5 or SIM-5N
They look pretty Damn Close to the Heckler and Koch MP5

i would not buy the commando stuff,way to much money for just stuff to slap on my gun...i would much rather spend it on a case of paint
or better yet,if you dont have a paintballgun yet

Tippmanns aren't milsim markers.. Period. Take it from the kind of kid who has pictures of M16s and M14s and M60s and sutff all over his wall.

Ariakon/Armotechs are better, but I know these guns like I know the military phonetic alphabet... Which is good. And Armotechs and Ariakons just don't cut it. Their MP5 series looks nohting like an HK MP5. The WG65 is better then the WG75.. Way better. Way more realistic.. Teh clip kit is terrible, since you have an M4 with a mag that it looks like oyu just hot glue gunned on. And the WG-75 mag looks more like a 5.56mm mag.. But it doesn't. Actually, looks more like a HK G3 mag.. But not. The Stock looks terrible, the handgrip isn't realistic, and the barrel SERIOSULY needs a muzzle break.

I like Rap4s.. They are very nice. They have an M4, M16A1 and A2, SR-16... They also have MP5, MP5 A3, and a few other serieses I can't think of. They have a Glock 18 too. They also have 68 cal kits.. A Spyder that remarkebly looks nice.

i would never buy em and yeah that new araikon or whatever the new name is is aweosme, wish they had that a year or so ago. Oh well ain't worth it cause i don't play much senerio. Proteam has a pretty cool site and stuff on it tho.
