How it works?
Anyone have a mechanical animation of the inner workings of the ION?
I just want to understand better how it works.

Think about it this way.
When you pull the trigger, it trips a solonoid (electric 3-way air valve)
The solonoid then directs air in the proper directions, pressurizing a kind of chamber type thing.
The only thing that moves is the bolt, discharging the pressure.
