Magnet Adjustment

ok, i have my shocker trigger where u hardly touch it, and it fires, BUT, i wanna reduce the magnetic tension (which i have never done) Alot of people say, take the magnet out, but i just want the magnetic tension to be similiar to that of the Proto......not tooo heavy, but still enought to push the trigger back....can this be done, or do i have to take the magnets out entirely (i would rather keep the magnets, as i suck at walkin without some resistance)

you can just turn the magnet out until you like the feel. you will need to remove the main board to do so. if you are not comfortable doing so then dont take it to someone that knows how. there is a chance of destoring the switch or board.

It tells you how to adjust the magnet in the manual.

Just remove your grips and then your circuit board. Use a 1/8" allen wrench to unscrew it.

if u want a longer pull just adjust the top screw. i got my trigger to where u really barely even touch it but i dont want it to go off by accident that often, so i just gave it a tad longer pull and its perfect. if you mess with ur trigger for an hour or so every few days, u learn what feels better and stuff, find sweetspots, and have fun :P

btw huey nice pbn threads.

because if you dont align the switch just right with the holes for the 2 pins that hold the board in, you will go right thru the switch. its not hard to adjust the magnet but some people dont want to risk damaging something in process
