Exclamation regulator choice

Okay, I'd like to change the reg on my impulse. First off, can I attach any reg to the impulse? I'm assuming you have to keep the cup with the guage on the bottom of the body, then screw the reg into that.
Second, I'm looking at two regs that were recommended:
Dye hyper inline 2
Custom products

I'm running a WAS board and all of the internals are New Designz. So, I'm going through alot of air at low pressure.
The dye is what they're running on the dm5's and custom products are just highly recommended.

If anybody has any info, I'd really appreciate it.

the custom products 04 small regulator would be a great choice. It has been proven to be a worthy choice on all guns. I see players all the time with shockers (which run at low pressures) who have CP regs on their gun. They absolutley love them. Also is the price difference. The cp is roughly $65-70 depending on where you get it...the hyper inline 2 is nearly $110-120...i say custom products

CP for looks, or AKA Sidewinder for better performance. CP is alright though.

Will the sidewinder take the input pressure of 850? I'm running a dye throttle tank and can't change the output pressure.

maybe this graph will influence ur choice
http://haveblue.org/dyno/5jun04dyno.jpg

winners:
aka 2 liter
evil detonator
sp maxflow (inline was tested, the manifold is almost as good and the vertical is probably not one of the top 5 or 10)
macdev gladiator
aka sidewinder

cp and the dye hyper 2 werent tested but the cp is supposedly not as good as the sidewinder

I don't believe that.

I saw a vid, gauge was in back of Imp. They used the CP, Sidewinder, and 2-Liter. They shot a Viking on rapid fire.

CP had an average decrease of like 16psi. Sidewinder had like 10psi. And 2-Liter had like 8psi. If the 2-Liter IS the best, and the SW is only 2psi. behind, I say SW is the way to go, or 2-Liter if you want to spend a little more plus it doesn't look too nice.
