Help Please! Seriously!
Ok, I bought an Impulse Rat Jr. about 2 weeks ago. I recieved my Anti-Syphon CO2 tank today and got it filled. The drop forward on the gun does not fit the CO2 tank, so I had to put my remote line on the drop forward.
I attached the remote line to the drop forward and attached the remote line to the CO2 tank. I screwed it all in and turned the knob on the CO2 tank to let it flow and it was like leaking somewhere inside the gun above the handle. It sounded like it was leaking anyways. I turned off the CO2 quickly and shot the gun and it was EXTREMELY loud. It shot about 3 times really loud and then it shot really quite and the balls basically fell out the end of the barrel.
I am really confused seeing as I have never delt with an Anti-Syphon CO2 nor an Impulse.
PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO..
Thanks

What do you mean it doesnt fit on the drop?
and if its leaking above the handle it could be the solenoid?
but I really dont know the much about impulses so ill let someone else take your question.
I do have one suggestion though, get HPA!

well one problem you have is once the anti-syphon gets put on the remote it becomes a syphon tank. with this you are only getting liquid CO2 which is not good for an impy. next check the pressure on the reg. it should be around 180-200 MAX! it the reg isnt set to high then you either have a bad soleniod gaskit or the soleniod itself is bad and expensive to replace.

Man. My CO2 tank does not fit into my drop forward since there is a knob on it. My gun has a leak somehwere. I cut the O-rings and now I noticed I do not have any. Our local and only paintball shop for 2 hours closed down. Our field closed down.
God...

catch me on AIM tonight, I think I can help ya. jaggy 1101
Paintbug was right on track with the leak, Sounds to me like he has a leak at the PRV. So you need to read what he put and at least give us a clue to help you. what is the pressure on the gauge? It should only be at about 180 psi.
Your Co2 tank has an on off? so when you try to screw it in the valve is hitting the drop. How close is it? For now you could take the ASA off the drop. screw in the tank, then mount it, then use the On/Off to gas and degass the gun. No orings? That one kinda sux. You need to get some orings. I am pretty sure that your gun came with a delrin bolt. if it had orings you could steal one of those for the time being. Other than that, you could go to a hardware store like home depot or Lowes, take the oring and match it to what they have.
first and formost you need to relax. we will help you get it fixed but getting frustrated and beating it up will only cost you more in the long run. Your Co2 tank should be marked for the antisyphon. when you install that, make sure it is in the correct postion or you will suck more liquid co2 into the gun.
If you can get the Co2 mounted, take your front reg and turn it all the way down. then turn on the Co2 very slowly. Make sure that needle on the gauge never goes above 180. slowly increase the reg until you are at the correct operating pressure, then listen for leaks. be specific when describing where the leak is coming from. Feel with your fingers for where it is leaking. Is it leaking from threads? or from the front of a brass fitting? (that's the PRV)
Post back up, or catch me on AIM.

Yup jaggy is on the right track. Also like stated above check your selinoid gasket. When i first got mine after the 3 time i aired it up i got a leak. Pizzer told me to re lube the selinoid gasket. I did and havent gotten a leak yet. Listen to Jaggy he knows his stuff. Good luck and dont get frustrated
