which reg should i get for my ion?
Ight so im wanting a new reg for my ion and im having a hard time deciding which one so what one should i get the cp reg or the bob long torpedo reg??

I would go with a CP reg or a Macdev Gladiator.

Between the two you listed, go with the CP ($65). Other regs worth looking at, depending on your target price are:
Evil Detonator ($70, fits nicely and looks good)
AKA Sidewinder ($75, fits nicely and looks good) and 2 Liter ($120, arguable the best reg, but a bit short and fat)
Shocktech ($65, similar to CP)
I listed approx cost new - of course you can always find used for cheaper. Have fun!
