Dudeus000,

I have seen and held the CP reg and it is too small IMO, I have big hands. Do you have an opinion on another Reg that might be better or eqivalent to a CP. I have heard good things about the Hyper and the AKA's, but I am just not sure they will look good on the gun. I get great consistency with my stock reg, I think that is another reason I am reluctant to change it out. Maybe one day soon.

I took more pics of the gun this weekend outside, but left my camera at home on accident. I will post them up tomorrow.

if u dont like the feel of a cp, then u wont like the feel of a hyper2. id recommend getting a 2liter or a sidewinder. they look great on ions, and if u wanted to u could always put carbon fiber stickers on it...

I will weigh it today for you. But I think it weighs the same as the plastic body did. Carbon Fiber is very light, if you have ever held a Stiffi barrel you know what I mean. So I lost alot of weight in just changing from the stock barrel. With the cage added to the body it probably made it weigh near the same as the stock plastic body. So I am guessing right now that it is under 2lbs total marker. Compared to 2.2lbs total marker stock. I will get you a definite number soon.

Dudeus000, the reg cover is big stock. There is a sticker inside making it stay in place that is acting as a wedge, I but I could get another type reg under it also if I wanted to.

Just weighed it, I am at 2.36lbs with the barrel. I think that is lighter then stock with the barrel. Does anyone know what stock weight is?

I have upped the feedneck and ASA which I am sure weigh more then the stock ones, so I guess it is still right at or just below normal stock Ion weight.

Yeah let me know what the Shocker weighs in at. My barrel is only a little more then .1 ounces. It feels like a sheet of papers weight. Really.

Never saw a weight for that Shocker man. Did you weigh it yet? Played with my set-up this last weekend, it is so light, i liked it alot.

Probably not until this stock one just stops working the way it is for me. I like it, I get really great chrono with it. Why fix something that ain't broke. I really don't like the way the CP looks, and they are skinny and small to me. The Hyper2 I have held one, and they are small. One day in the future maybe, but not any time soon.

get a sidewinder reg dyetex. I run one on my FSPro and love it. I have a 2liter too, but prefer the feel of the sidewinder. (mostly hose placement)

I'll check that sidewinder out Jaggy13. How do you like the gun so far!!! It has undergone some changes.

Drilled out the back of the frame yesterday and installed my power light in the back. It looks nice. Also got some new grips. I am loving the carbon fiber look of it all. It is really light weight.
