why does everyone slam down the nerve as being a bad marker?

(excluding overpriced)

i mean i own one that i got the halo b rip hopper, and the tank and the gun 800 bucks, i wouldnt pay more tan that for it, but i mean its light(er)
its really damn accurate and its fast, why does everyone say it sucks?

i know its not te best marker and you can make a shocker better than one because there are like 0 ups for it, but its not a bad gun.

people are always saying it sucks ass and stuff but it really doesnt, its just overprices, but now for 800 bucks i think thats just about right i think.

granted id rather have a shocker, but its still not a bad gun

All the nerve is, is a shocker in a impulse sized body. IMO, the nerves are fugly as hell. They aren't worth the price at all.

smart parts kinda isnt the best at marketing, but they do make nice guns here and there...
the nerve is at fight with the shocker, i mean its kinda dumb i think the shocker is just as good as the nerve but yet look at the price difference, now heres the bg battle the Impulse Vs. the Ion, i mean the Ion is so damn nice for 300 bux it destroyed the resall for MANY guns, but yet its only 300 bux, i mean i dont complain to much its a great freaking bang for ur buck gun, but i mean... it screwed stuff up and people would still buy it most likly if it was like n e where from like 400-600 i think...
i really dont understand Smart parts sceam... u really dont see the proto dm4 dm5 and dmc owners at war with each other, thats cause u get what u spend mostly... no more no less...

the reason why their are virtually no upgrades for the nerve is because its already a great gun. SP is giving you a free LPR, its got a freak, ramping board, q-lock, etc. the ony thing i would get for it would be like maybe a new bolt.

i understand where you guys are coming from with the " it doesnt offer anything a shcoker doesnt" thing, and i totally agree, even being a nerve owner i know that its nothing special or what have you

but my whole point is

its not a bad gun

it doesnt suck

its just not the most REASONABLE buy compared to a shocker,

but saying tis bad is just stupid

its just as good as most shockers, even though a shocker is a much more RESONABLE GUN

but as far as firing goes, it doesnt suck , its only about a half pound heavier,

and i happen to think it looks just sexy enough for me thanks =)

Sure we know it's fast, has little kick, and basically doesn't suck. But u see, u can get a shocker for $600, ppl just can't justify the extra money towards a nerve since it doesn't really give them anything.

exactly, if i had BOUGHT my gun, i would have gotton a shcoker, but i got it for free.... so i think ill live, my dad actually payed for it so his loss i told him to get a shocker but he didnt listen, got the nerve with a flame drop, 68/4500 tank, and halo b with riprive for 800 bucks, not bad imo i probably wouldnt pay more than that
