Just got an Ion, what upgrades?
yo, i just bought a stock brand new ion with a evo2(z board) and a tank of course...ive always had tippmanns so i know nothing about electronic guns and air systems. If you have any knowledge, cool ion parts, upgrades, boards?, please let me know what they are and a description, it would really help me out.

DO NOT RUN YOUR ION ON CO2!!!
feedneck
barrel
trigger
on/off
regulator
grips
qev
bolt
firing chamber
u just got yourself a tourney gun with those (its cheaper to buy a proto)
so in a realistic look to upgrades, this is all u'll need
barrel-freak, all american, ultralite... uc an go free here
feedneck-qlock, ccm no-pro, ccm no-rise
qev(from jaggy cuz hes cool)
trigger-ndz blade, cp roller
on/off-u can go free here

the ion stock reg is acctually pretty decent but if u have the money to upgrade it then i would say so so(prolly a cp shorty) but a new barrel is pretty much nesisasry(sp) on all brand new guns.

stock reg is fine, its one of smart parts better stock things. the only problem with a cp shorty, is that they look pretty damn ugly on the frame cuz the ions have it flared out so that it can make the grips look better, while the shorty reg dosent need a grip.
i find that the hyper 2 from dye looks best on an ion
