Im just starting to get back into paintball and my e-99 is getting old (have had it over 3 years)

i went to one of the local stores (i know the owner and have played with him at his field dozens of times recently) yesterday and he handed me the ion to check out. It was soo much better than my e-99. Im gona try to get him to let me shoot it on sunday (hell hes let me shoot his 1.5k guns)

so do you guys think this would be a good upgrade for me?
I mainly play junk yards and urban sometimes woods and sometimes speedball (at 6'2" and 230lbs im not the fastest in the world so speedball is rough sometimes lol)

i have one suggestion for you. if you want to upgrade, dont skimp out and get a cheap. get the best upgrade you can get for that part, it will save you money in the long run.

so are you saying i should get a different gun?
my local paintball store has a used ans 4 e cocker for 400$. although i know thats better i dont really
A want to spend that much
B want a cocker that much

if i get a ion ill probably be getting a crossfire hpa tank, a qev, a new trigger, a drop forward, a freak jr. or a stiffi, and maby one of ydna's bolts. ( i already have a halo tsa backman lcd which shood give this thing enough untill i can get a better hopper)

dont get a freak or a stiffi, get a J&J edge 4 piece kit hands down.

also im going to try to get my parents to get me a steel/aluminum hpa tank for my birthday (yes yes i know)

probably a crossfire hp 47 3k

or can u guys recomend something for under 100$ or close to that.

i've got someone wanting to buy my e-99 so its gona happen next week!
