The QEV increases the air efficiency, giving you more shots out of a tank because you can lower the dwell to 10-12. It also decreases the bolt action time, making it possible to shoot a higher bps, if you have a uncapped board. It is a very good upgrade considering its only $15. I think the best aftermarket bolt would be the Lucky 1,2,3 kit. Its just as good as a Orange bolt, costs less, and is more reliable.

The QEV is a great investment if you are having to pay per fill where you play. And installing it is simple. You can decrease your dwell to a point where you are way lower then stock settings and your pressure is to a level that you are comfortable with and you still shoot a your fields FPS limits. You will get better efficiency and that is always good.
