I have head of great success with both the teardrop/progressive barrels. Also, the smart parts freak barrel system has been very popular with ION users.

For the price of a boomstick, you can get an entire pipe kit or a freak system.
They are good barrels, but I just can't see putting a $100 barrel on an ION..

qmft the lucky 15 is the most accurate barrel out there, i have one for my ion, and i get ball on ball accurccy with it, not to mention, its silent. also it is one piecew, so you dont have to worry about half of the barrell coming undone. i think it is just as nice as the ul, and yes, i have used both
so my conclusion...
buy a warped sportz lucky 15 barrell, for 60 bucks new.

Ive got a ultralite on there, but I havent tried it out yet. Only downside is its more expensive to match bore sizes. For instance, I have a .692, and I want to get a .688 as well, but ive got to wait and get together 50 to spend on it

Yah, I know what you mean, however its worth it. I have an ultralight and it shoots great.........but i also need a smaller bore size, just in case.

I played with it this weekend....Lasers all day long, it was great!
Broke 1 ball out of 1250 shot, and thats when I had the eyes off by accident, cleaned it with a battle swab on the field, and it was all good.
Using a .692 back, ill pic up a .688 later. Might also want to buy another front when I have the cash.
