Question I-frame questions

1) Can I use any trigger in it and is the trigger it comes with better than every other out there?

2) Can I get a 15* mount for the new max-flo reg on a new imp?

3) Isn't the noid like soldered into the stock frame and installing this one will be tedious and risky? x_x

4) Is the performance difference really as notice-able as the hype around it? I mean, I hear people going "pmg i can shoot SSJ 4027340923773 bps faster!!!SHIFT+ONE" lol...I don't really see how a frame can have a drastic improvement on how fast you fire (especially since most imps have a board with ramping anyway.)

5) Where can I get one? :P

1. The trigger on I-Frames is the only trigger that will work with them unless you can customly install a different trigger in. I've seen CP Triggers in I-Frames. The trigger is nice, and can be adjusted a lot. However, on the V3 Frames like I had, you pretty much need to remove the spring because if you wanted to have a nice pull with the spring in there, the adjustment screw would need to be sticking out of the trigger. So, everybody just removes the spring.

2. I actually forget if they make 15º mounts for Imps. I think NDZ does though. I'm pretty sure you don't need a 15º mount when you have an I-Frame of any kind because the trigger gaurd bends inward to it clears the macroline fitting on the reg. Mine did when I had my Imp.

3. No, the solenoid on Imps are mounted to the bottom of the body by 2 screws. However, wires from the circuit board are soldered to the solenoid. When you install an I-Frame, you just take the old one off, and put the new one on.

4. The I-Frame offers a lighter gun setup, a more compact setup, a shorter setup, a better balanced setup, a more comfy setup, a better looking setup and it's a lot easier to work with since it eliminates the use of the board tray. One piece construction. Easily the best frame for Imps, and it offers a lot. Just a hot frame. It's worth it.

5. HSW has been out of business for awhile now, and I-Frames are not made or sold anymore. They are circulating around though. Maybe you can find somebody selling one on The Nation.

The I-Frames offer more than all other frames, like I've said. But, it's really personal preferance on if you consider it comfy or not. They put your hand in a totally different position than 90º frames, and some people prefer the 90º over 45's. So, try a 45 out, and if you can, try an I-Frame. Also, you can use all of the standard grips available right now on I-Frames. 90º frames can only use 90º grips, which are far less available than standard grips.

Well, I have no idea how well the Blackheart fits in I-Frames. But, I know that any board available before the Blackheart can fit in a V3 frame, and only the Blue Light Cricket and WAS Board can fit the 2.5...I think. Don't quote me on that.
