1. The trigger on I-Frames is the only trigger that will work with them unless you can customly install a different trigger in. I've seen CP Triggers in I-Frames. The trigger is nice, and can be adjusted a lot. However, on the V3 Frames like I had, you pretty much need to remove the spring because if you wanted to have a nice pull with the spring in there, the adjustment screw would need to be sticking out of the trigger. So, everybody just removes the spring.
2. I actually forget if they make 15º mounts for Imps. I think NDZ does though. I'm pretty sure you don't need a 15º mount when you have an I-Frame of any kind because the trigger gaurd bends inward to it clears the macroline fitting on the reg. Mine did when I had my Imp.
3. No, the solenoid on Imps are mounted to the bottom of the body by 2 screws. However, wires from the circuit board are soldered to the solenoid. When you install an I-Frame, you just take the old one off, and put the new one on.
4. The I-Frame offers a lighter gun setup, a more compact setup, a shorter setup, a better balanced setup, a more comfy setup, a better looking setup and it's a lot easier to work with since it eliminates the use of the board tray. One piece construction. Easily the best frame for Imps, and it offers a lot. Just a hot frame. It's worth it.
5. HSW has been out of business for awhile now, and I-Frames are not made or sold anymore. They are circulating around though. Maybe you can find somebody selling one on The Nation.
