my neck on my egg was sanded down when i got mine (used prior). it worked fine on my cocker, then i got my ion, because it was sanded..it slid around. lol so i had to do the opposite, get it to stick.

I'll be amazed if you manage to get that egg out without snapping the feedneck, cuz unless it's one of the newer shells, it's gonna snap like a twig pullin' it out. I say break the ***** off and buy a clamping feed and a new feedneck for your egg lol

put butter on it? If you have the stock feedneck its gonna be difficult to get it off cause of those two o rings. My realoader b was stuck on my stock one but after about 30 min of just twisting and pulling it, it finally came off.

I got my egg stuck, and ended up unscrewing the feedneck, which didn't help.

I have the oposite problem. I cut dont the feed neck on my egg and now I cant get it back in my feed neck. It appears to have become wider.
Would it be possible to disassemble the hopper and pull out each half of the feedneck individually?

yea cause when you take apart a egg the feedneck comes in two parts alon with two round parts that are in the bottom of the hopper. Just buy a new clamping feedneck.

twist the feedneck off then gun, then put it in boiling water,
Like hold your egg above a pot with just the feedneck in the water.
Then just wrap a towel around it and twist. The Heat should have made the plastic softer for a bit so it should come right out.
