I don't know for sure but I'll just post this here...

I was playing hyperball with the eyes on and my gun wouldn't fire.
So I switched the eyes off and dry fired once or twice and still nothing.
I shook the gun abit and nothing.

So I take the halo out of the feedneck and have to push the balls into the breech because they weren't going down all the way.

Then it works for a little while and does it again.

Are my detents worn but I've only had the Ion for like 4-6 months.
Is it a Halo problem?

the balls were probally too big for the feedneck
were you using cheap paint?

Just normal field paint.
Which yes is probably really cheap.

i had a problem like that. If u are using the stock feed neck it might be that. Mine didn't have a perfectly round hole and the balls would get stuck.

was the halo blinking?

sounds like just a halo jam and when using bad paint can happen quite frequently

even if the led wasnt blinking it could still be a jam, my halo board doesnt blink like it's supposed to when it jams

could be a Halo Jam...check your batteries

or it could be that your paint isn't getting fed all the way down because of A) Low batteries or B) very big, oblong, paint.
