ion screw hep. please!

Okay so i am plannig on getting a new asa soon. So i try to take the screws off but i guess there is loc-tite on there. But i just can't get it off. And now i have sorta rounded out the screw. So any suggestions???

yeah, just hold a lighter under it to heat it up, then unscrew it.

Yeah, heat works best.

But now that you've rounded the screw it will be harder. First...take an old allen wrench that you don't need. Get some strong...extremely strong glue, and carefully glue the allen wrench to the screw, and procede to screw it out.

also, i tried heating it with a lighter and still not much luck.....sorry for the double post. any more suggestions. A buddy of mine said to cut a flat head screw driver slit in teh screw with a dremmel??

You don't, that's why it's an old allen wrench, so you won't need it anymore. Just go buy a new screw for like....10 cents.

Last time I hade a rounded out screws on an ASA I had to drill out the screw heads and then use a pair of vise grips to twist out the threaded part
