OMG Another impy thread!
Aight, well i might rtade my tank for a 2k4 impy with the following ups:
Quote:
heres the impy. it has visions. its a 2k4 everything is up'd except
the board. it has a nice trigger job, a pair of blue stickies, a new
smart parts gauge, a 14 inch CP barrel, a rebuilt reg, a maxflo reg,
superfly bolt. anything else you want to know
|
One problem though, i wont have a hpa tank, so if i play ill be using co2. Now is it possible? Or should i just wait till i get a tank to play.
Also, are those ups good? What else will i need? Is this a good deal?

If i do this deal i will get an AS Tube.
So you have one that you run off of co2? Hows it work off of it?
What problems have you expierienced because of the co2?And what problems in general?
Thanks!

As with any gun High Rates of fire and Co2 can cause problems mostly with the tank freezing up and the tank pressure droping. Also the number of shot you can get off a tank depends a good bit one the Temperature of the tank.

Shootdown. Bad efficiency. Not as good as HPA.
I say do it if you don't intend on getting another gun.

Lets take a look at the Mannual
The Impulse has two default fire rates that do not require adjustment:
Vision Eye Off: 13.7 shots per second
Vision Eye On: 20 shots per second
Just semi-auto
On a side note their is a small quirk with how the impulse is designed

design, the marker requires a paintball in front of the bolt to produce back-pressure, which makes the marker
re-cock. If you must dry-fire the Impulse, remove the barrel and place a rag over the front portion of the
marker where the barrel screws into. This will simulate the paintball and create the required back-pressure
to re-cock the marker. If the Impulse is fired without anything in front of the bolt, the bolt will remain forward
and allow air to continuously drain down the barrel. If the bolt remains forward after firing the marker with
paint, increase the inlet pressure and decrease dwell settings.
|
This is because the Impulse uses the air pressure behind the ball to help drive the bolt back

If he does get bolt stick, a tapeworm is a cheap ($15) way to fix that...
