Shens @ you being on a sponsored team. Either you're just really paintball gun stupid, or you're lying.

STOP DRY FIRING...anyways, if you are dry-firing you are using a lot more air than normal for operation. But if you are going through a 45/4500 fill in 300 shots, you have a leak. Period, no amount of bad settings will grant you that crappy of efficiency.

I will have to agree here, I will help you as much as I can, but you don't sound very mechanically inclined. I would suggest you stick with a spyder until you know the ropes a little better in the gun teching area. I'm just trying to help man. I don't want you breaking that gun.

saying your sponsored by translogistics is like saying your sponsored by farmer jack, or any other corperation that has nothing to do with paintball.

anyway we need more organized information if you want us to help you with your ion, preferably in sentence form, and if your feeling really good, you might even throw in a few periods or commas to make your sentences ledigible, so we can pull the information out of the sentence, so we can help you.

Also, there is a ****ing edit button. Just reading this thread made me want to stab myself in the face repeatedly simply because of how many double and triple-posts you've had.

Definitely raise the dwell.... what's your input pressure set as?

so, you are getting about 2 hoppers worth of paint thru the gun before you are empty enough to have to fill it......

1. your dwell is way to low, it should never be set to 1. in a best case scenario, it would be around 12-16 with QEV, 45-55 without QEV. do yourself a big favor and read and follow the instruction in this thread http://www.paintballforum.com/forum/...42#post1356142.

2. you also probably have a leak somewhere. with your ion 1/2 disasembled (i.e take out battery so you do not fry your board. detach your grip frame, but leave all hoses still intact, air it up and check for leaks at any hose connection by puting a drop or two of soapy water on it. it will bubble up if there is a leak. if you take your time and are careful, you should not get any water on your baord (perhaps use an eyedropper or q-tip), but it will not hurt you board to get a drop of water on it so long as you have no power and you dry it fairly quickly and wait till it dries completely (overnight) before reconnecting the battery. dont forget to check you macroline and fittings. in short, check every air connection.

3. make sure the rest of your gun is lubed properly and that none of the o rings are damaged, including the tank o ring. also, if you happen to have an NDZ on/off...get a new one, ive never seen one that doesnt leak.

4. please stop double and triple posting, it is annoying and i will start deleting them.

5. while it isnt a crime to write in incomplete sentences, it is very helpful to those that would help, sine they would be able to understand you better without having to re-read what you wrote several times. it does not take that much time to write legibly.

6. (for the would be helpers). no need to rag on the guy. you all seem to be getting better at being polite...lets keep it that way.

try these things, and you should get much better performance out of your marker and this forum.

in the shadows,
OSP
