Vowdoo bolt comes in any length you want, and it is by far the slickest bolt you will ever find for the impy. I have had one in mine for 2 1/2 years and have shot it like every weekend. It hasn't scored my chamber the slightest bit! Just get a shorter length voodoo bolt!
Voodoo bolt and NDZ equilizer bolt are the exact same bolt with a different name. Made with the same machines and everything.
But why don't you like your strange bolt, those are great bolts too?
pbgear.com still sells all of them

O i hear ya about the lenght, but like i said i used one in my gun and didnt like it at all, i was looking at the butterfly one, but to be all honest i really like the stock bolt and havent had a single problem with it, and like the old saying go's " if it isn't broken, don't fix it" well shes working great so theres no need to change the bolt...thanks thought for your opinions and appreciate you all taking the time out to read and answer my posts..thanks again

it's not the bolt length, but the bolt travel that effects it. i would get more in def. with it but it is hard to explain.

Well, for the person in question here, he is using a Strange Vision Impy, which has the back of the top tube chopped off to save some weight, and he wants the smaller bolt because it doesn't come as far out so it looks a little nicer and a little cleaner

i love pl impulses, first off. My Rat Impulse has its top tube milled off as does yours. Mine came stock with a Strange Bolt, which is great. It is very short, and does not come out of the back at all when the bolt is back.
Strange bolts are similarly priced as all others, and are made of Delrin.

I think you made the right choice. Keep the strange bolt. Just as good as anything else out there, and it is the perfect length for your gun.

Everyone knows that the NDZ EQ Bolt is the best there is for the Impy. I'd recommend it. However, the Strange is basically the same exact thing, believe it or not, so just stick with that.
Butterflys are not as good as you may think, and Voodoos were all just a bunch of hype when they came out and proved to me inferior to it's competitors. The soft rubber bolt face turned out to be more stiff than soft and didn't help with anything. But I will say that it's efficiency is pretty much up there with the NDZ EQ because it's rubber bolt face creates a nice seal with the inside of the Impulse.
But still, Equalizer > Strange > Voodoo and Butterfly.
The Length of the bolt doesn't matter. NDZ's bolts are offered in different lengths to best fit your Impulse's milling. For example, if it's a standard Imp, a Flush Length will fit it perfectly and be flush with the back of the body. A Stubby is meant for Imp's with milled upper tubes, and so on.
And as for bolt travel? Might want to elaborate because when any tuned Impulse fires, any bolt in any Imp will travel the same distance from shot to shot.

I'd go NDZ because they never let you down with anything they make. SP...eh. Plus all the other internals would be NDZ anyway, they make the best crap, especially for Imps.
But they are basically the same bolt.

The Voodoo bolt does NOT have a rubber face, the only bolt I know of that does is the OTB Blind bolt. The NDZ and Voodoo bolts are essentially the same bolt.
SP Voodoo Bolt...
NDZ EQ bolt....
For all intensive purposes they are same bolt. No difference, buy whichever is cheaper...
I have used both and I use a voodoo. It does NOT have a rubber face. I agree though that the OTB rubber face bolts are inferior.

Woops, lol. I was talking about the Dart, don't get that one, lol.
The Smart Parts Bolt and The NDZ Bolt are basically the same thing.
