Unhappy electrical stuff

ok i got a vision impulse and its having some issues that i cant figure out, it has the cricket board but for some reason it just decides when it wants to shoot and when it doesnt, (maybe its just that time of the month) I have narrowed it down to the cricket board itself, but have gotten no further than that really, I beleive it has a short somwhere but have no idea how to narrow it down any further, One thing that is happening also is whenever it doesnt shoot the blue light also wont work, dont know if that helps any, any body got any ideas?? Id rather try to solve it myself than pay $40 for some guy to tell me that its unusable and i need to buy a new board,

thanx for any help

Adjust the trigger. If the light is off it means the trigger is contstantly holding down the microswitch, so just make the pull longer. lol, you don't need a new board.

it could also be a short at the switch, or a sticky switch. I would start with the trigger as pizzer suggests and go from there.

well its a little late for all of that, i got the new board for $10 and they sent the vision board with it (SWEET!!), I know it wasnt the trigger causing it cuz i did most of my testing either with a ton of trigger pull or just with circut board out, even with it out every once in a while it would not fire, so it had to be a short somwhere or a sticky switch, either way its hopfully been fixed although my allen wrenches have disapeared so i cant get the old vision board out and the new one in also the trigger i ordered requires the trigger frame to be drilled and tapped .i think ill just have my local shop do that though
