Be carefull taking it apart. Thats the biggest thing for me. Make sure to push up on the board (and take out the battery) when seperating the body from the grip frame. I hope it shoots good, look into getting an on/off and a feedneck soon.

P.s. This should have gone into the ION forum.

I have had mine from the first run of Ions (Got it the first week they were out and when they came in 4 colors) and it's a great gun, But like any 1st run of a gun it had a few bugs. A few that I experianced were: managed to break the stock trigger while playing (Became a 1.5 finger trigger), shredded the Bolt bumper oring because of a Bur in the breach (Jewelers file fixed that) , and Blew out a Bango fitting (Reg came set too high).

Side from those 3 things I have yet to have any problems with it. As for tips
  1. Clean and relube after a day of play.
  2. Don't trust it with anti-siphon CO2 tanks
  3. Most vision problems are either Dirty Eyes, Eyes not plugged in, or the wires have been pinched
  4. If you have left the gun idle for a while relube it before you goto the feild.
  5. A roll of Teflon Tape is your best friend
  6. If your not sure about some thing check the stickies or go to your local Shop.

Yeah, and if you find that you're having trouble with accuracy, I suggest taking the barrel off. I've found that using my ion without the barrel really improves my game... don't know why they even have a barrel if it doesn't work.

...umm...you must have an aftermarket barrel, because my stock one can't play anywhere near decent without some form of barrel attached.

but ya, Remember play tight, practice your snapshooting, stay low profile. ( since everyone else told u everything else u need to know!)
