Greetings,
I have an opportunity to pick up an ION fairly cheaply, $180 to be exact with the T-board in it with membrane mod.

Anyone know much about the t-board? What modes it has, strengths, weaknesess? I am tempted to pick this marker up for this price and still put a body kit, and maybe a blackheart or virtue board in it just for fun.

I am looking for an inexpensive marker for day to day play. I have the high end stuff for special occasions..

The upgrades alone are almost worth the asking price....Is this from a local person so you can check it out before buying or an internet deal?

Edit:
Looking at the pics closer, the trigger gaurd and reg nut are pretty chewed up. I'd be concerned that the owner was a gorilla when he worked on it and beat it up badly. If it was a local deal, I'd check it out well and then decide. If it's an internet deal you're rolling the dice....

I'd get it, ions are pretty good guns no matter how much people bash them. just get a B.O.B body and you will be setting straight with it.

TBoard, feedneck, trigger and reg set up are your pros. Does it come with the freak barrel kit?

If so, id buy that in a heartbeat.

Id take it to a proshop and have them look at it to see if the internals are still good. But if you go for another board, you can just replace internals anyway.

Id say thats a great deal. Id buy it if i didnt already have my ion that i spent about $200 upgrading.

As for the scratches, the one on the reg nut is probably just from velocity adjusting.
