Before you invest in a drop forward, seriously consider getting a good ASA with on/off and a BLEEDER. The stock ASA's are terrible to deal with because as soon as the bottle starts to open the pressure makes it extremely difficult to screw in or out. This chews up the ASA and ruins the bottle threads.
Dangerous Power R.A.P.S. are excellent and I've heard good things about the CP on/off's with bleeders. The DP's come with a mini-rail as do some of the CP's. Try it with a mini rail first and add any dovetail drop you care to if you feel you need it.
A drop forward really depends on your personal preference because some drop a little, some a lot, some move forward a little or a lot and some are angled and some are straight. Depending on the size of your bottle, the way you hold your marker, the size of your body and many other factors, you may not need a drop at all or you may want a huge one. It's tough to figure out which is best but if you can try some other NXT's at the field with different drops, you can get an idea of what you like.
