New Bolt...excitement...then...pfffffttttt

Okay, I installed my new Unicorn bolt this morning. (how's about I just say "new bolt?" I doubt the type makes a difference)

I also have a SmartParts QEV in there.

And I set my Dwell at 33 and Recharge at 22 from the Tech T Stock parts cheat sheet as I was looking for a 16-ish bps r-o-f. (http://www.techtpaintball.com/iontable.xls)

Now, I get that refinement is required to account for the light bolt and qev but....
At first, along with a light trigger adjustment to make the pull shorter, the gun just hummed...so fast..so quiet...so lovely. tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap

And then a couple hours later, I went back to hear that sound again, and it went great for 5 seconds then pffftttttttt....

An escaping gas sound inside the gun and the bolt stopping in the forward position. Guh! Oi!

I thought I lubbed the bolt up well enough, but I accept the possibility that maybe I didn't.

Anyway, with that story, who's got some hella-cool advice or ideas on what the problem might be...and how to fix it to get that sweet, sweet tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap back.

BTW. My goal is to get the settings to allow for 15-16 bps rate of fire, with consistant velocity when shooting rapid fire. Bascially I want a good, but not crazy, rate-of-fire, NPPL legal (I just pulled that as a goal because, well, why not, seems reasonable) but I also want shots 5 and 6 to go the same range as shots, 1, 2, & 3.

P.S. My Board is Stock

Not the dwell?

Okay, so I went home to work on the dwell. Put it up ten flashes and then started to put on the tank. As soon as the tank engaged...pffffffffffffft.
So maybe not the dwell. I hadn't even turned it on yet.

So I took it apart, lubed the hell out of the bolt and put it back. I put the tank back on and....no leak. But I haven't had time to turn it on and shoot yet. So here's hoping.

It seemed as though the new, two-part bolt had come apart? As in the two sections were separated, which, in my mind, created space for a leak? Make sense?

That sucks. I'm actually stumped for the first time so far. Try lubing the bolt like a mad bolt-lubing scientist!
