Impulse OTB Frame Help

I've just purchased an Impulse w/OTB Trigger. Would anyone have an OTB Manual to share a copy or scan of? I don't know how or if I can adjust the trigger pressure. I'm also not sure which board it has and how to identify them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

im not sure what the otb trigger is, do you have a link? i cant really see that you wouldnt be able to control the trigger sensitivity becasue you can even with the stock impulse trigger, if you couldnt it would seem to be a downgrade.

as for the board, can you adjust the eye sensitivity? if so then it is the 1st gen. board, if it cherps when you turn it on and you cant adjust the eye then its the cricket board, i dont know what sound, if any, the first gen. board makes, anybody know that? O guess i should have asked if you have eyes and the vision board first, do you?

Yes, the Marker has Vision and it chirps when turned on. The board has two adjustments. The OTB is a Magnetic Trigger & 90 degree upgrade frame. People seem to speak highly of it.

sounds like you got the cricket board then, it has 2 modes, eyes on, and eyes off, kinda hard to remember i know, when you first turn it on it will be in eyes off mode with the light blinking slowly, once you press the on/off button again it will switch to eyes on mode and the light will blink faster.

i also have a magnetic trigger, heres how i adjust mine, there is a vertical hole in the frame behind the trigger that adjusts the magnets position and therefore the force on the trigger, although with a 90 frame i would not be supprised if this hole was somewhere else, there is a horizontal hole in the trigger that adjusts the stop screw that effects the total trigger pull, and there is also a vertical hole in the trigger that adjusts where the trigger activates the switch. let me know if this helps

I don't know for a fact that the OTB came with a trigger assy. but the things I have read made it sound that way. This is new to me I'm just getting back into the sport from my Sheridan PGP days long ago.

it seems to me that if you took the trigger from the impys 45 frame and tryed to put it in a 90, im not sure it would work right, the screw that stops the triggers movement would be too long i think, o and because theres only 2 modes to the cricket board, im not sure theres a manual, you should go find how to properly adjust the dwell though, its usfull for saving gas.

in other news, my impy JUST went belly up, kinda funny though, because i have a dm6 in the shop (long story as to how it got there) that i just purchased and it should be coming back tomorrow, and i was only cleaning the impulse from a game last weekend, i noticed it wasnt firing the noid everytime i pulled the trigger but the board was blinking when i did, tracked the problem down, theres a short in one of the wires that go to the noid, lol, i think this is about the most convienient break down in history.
