I have a problem with my ion xe

Hi guys im having a problem with my ion xe... i have no clue what to do. I believe there is something wrong with the internals of the gun. Every time i pull the trigger the gun is making a low noise sound quite irregular to the normal noise it makes when its shooting. I feel air being released through the trigger when i shoot but only when i shoot. I can tell that the bolt is moving forwards and back but not quite hard or fast enough to even push the paint ball through the barrel. But every now and then it does work and shoot a ball but that doesn't happen very often. I have an important game soon and i need your help.

those were my two opinions of what could be wrong as well, sounds like it just needs some TLC

replace it anyway and see what happens, and if you lubed it already then its time to rebuild the bolt assembly

edit: everything needs to be lubed, ions go though lube fairly quickly, get your hands on some dow 33 and give the bolt assembly a work over, on the ion you should be doing that every other case or so

Even if you don't think you need to put a fresh battery in you should do it anyway. Even if it doesn't solve your problem it's one more thing you can cross off the list of possibilities and be 100% sure about.

Honestly, I tell people to "change the battery and try again, if that doesn't work change the battery again" for a total of 2 battery swaps.

by "rebuild" im saying go though and replace all the o-rings, by the sounds of it this marker could use a rebuild anyway

Captain O-Ring

check out this site, the guy who runs it can sell you marker specific rebuild kits for pretty cheap, thats where i get all my rings from

I understand that but the voltage readers are easily fooled, I confused a board of mine into thinking it had 27 volts on one occasion and 2.3v on another.
Just do it.

EDIT:
Oh, and you can swear just make sure you spell your naughty words correctly.

If your battery and lube is all correct and done, than your dwell might be set too low

Try bumping it up a few blinks along with a fresh battery and lube

if its set to stock i highly doubt thats the issue, if it was then id be wondering if there was something else causing you to need a high dwell

rebuild and lube and it should be in like new condition

the lube i think he is trying to say

and why wouldnt you understand why the lack of lube was slowing the bolt down?
