All,

I need advice, I can get an Impluse for $419.00 and one with the vision eye for like $515-520.00

1- How much is a LP Tank?
2- How much is a Halo?
3- My question is if my total is going to be $700-800 is there a better gun that offers the tank in some type of package deal?
(i.e. Shocker, Evil Omen etc..)
4- Are they that much better then the Impluse?
5- Also I understand the vision eye is good, but will that new W.A.S. board that replaces the cricket board really be a nessassary upgrade?
6- If I do stay with an Impluse should I get the Rat or Ratjr, like some people talk about in the forums?
7- What's the deal with the Rats, is it like the most bang for the buck in the "Impluse" class of markers?
8- I went to their site it's kind of crapy looking, is there no other place to get the Rat Impluse?
9- If possible what the best price package for any of the IMPLUSE for the lowest price out there? And were is it located?

1- How much is a LP Tank? it depends on the size and you dont need a lp tank
2- How much is a Halo? i think a halo b is around 120
3- My question is if my total is going to be $700-800 is there a better gun that offers the tank in some type of package deal? if you add a tank and a halo maybe the only thing thats in the $700-$800 range is the B2K2 cuz shockers are too much and omens suck IMO
(i.e. Shocker, Evil Omen etc..)
4- Are they that much better then the Impluse? the B2K2 is about the sam [B/]

2- How much is a Halo?----They are runnin bout 120 new and cheaper used.

3- My question is if my total is going to be $700-800 is there a better gun that offers the tank in some type of package deal?----- the shocker with a tank and halo is around 1000. there really isnt any setup that will get u a tank gun and halo for 7-800

4- Are they that much better then the Impluse?---I really think that the impulses are nice and personall impulse > n2k2 but i have a friend that loves his bushy. Get a shocker if u can afford it.

Also has a better eye system. Rgiht now wicked air sportz is overloaded so i would wait a bit before gettin one.

Everyone else covered all your questions nicely, but i just have to add on your first question, DO NOT get an LP tank, your HP reg will take down the HP tanks pressure, all LP tanks do is starve your gun of air at high ROF. Go HP tank, they are the same price.

quick dirty eh?

well basically a LP tank puts out roughly 400-450 psi, and a HP tank puts out around 800-850 psi... an impulse needs an input pressure of approx. 180psi to run... when having a LP tank, it doesnt put out a whole lot of pressure, and with the impulse running at say 200, it needs to recharge super fast to be able to keep up with the impulse. which it wont do very well and you will get shootdown. with a HP tank, you are putting out enough pressure to keep the impulse up and running without any shootdown, which is happy.

OK, so your recommending HP for the IMPLUSE?

If I get a RT or RTJR IMPLUSE, I notice they come with the MAX-FLOW regulator help "drop-off" or "Recharge-Rate"?

Will the MAX-FLOW work on both LP and HP?
