I currently own a 2k3 cocker(as seen in my sig) and i'm wanting to upgrade to a semi-high end electro. being 13, no job, and my parents aren't rich, i have to save up by myself. i'm am almost positive on getting an impulse, and wanted to know if you think this is a good deal.

In my opinion, that's not the best deal in the world for $600.00 bucks. Once yout get in the $600.00 dollar range you have 2-3 different types of Impulse's to choose from... My advice to you is to research online and choose wisely. For example I got my "Game Face, Thuder Impluse" for $625.00 the other day. Once you get into this range the 2 or 3 custom versions of the Impulse they start offering some of the upgrades, like the trigger, tapeworm, Titainum pin, delrin bolt, custome milling, and the Vertical MAX-FLOW. Which I notice your's doesn't list. Mine came with all that which is hassle free in my opinion. And then of course it's vision ready / W.A.S. ready..

I think you should keep looking, I suggest you check out the RAT JR STAGE 2 setup. It's around the same price for $575.00 And it looks cool, slightly different from the "Standard" Smart Parts style impluse, if your also into the looks of the marker.

If you can't afford to be in the $575.00 - $625.00 range then you could always back down and take a look at the same website (that I can't list here) they also offer a slightly hopped up "standard" SP impulse (trigger, grip etc...) If you search the web you'll find the site I'm talking about.

Me and you are in the same situation. I'm also 13 and just quit my crappy job. I also have an 03 cocker and want to upgrade to an impulse. Having no money at all I'm going for an Impulse with a CP roller trigger and a blind bolt. After that I'll prolly get some iinternals. I hear that NDZ has the best stuff for imps. Check out www.e-paintballoutlet.com for abunch of impulse stuff for cheap.

Dont get the Gameface....Team thunder is crap...that why they got booted from Detroit.

Get a Rat with WAS. If it doesnt have WAS...its not worth it.

WAS > Upgraded Imp with no WAS

I'll be 14 in a month, I can start drivin legaly at 15, but I can drive not legaly whenever. And I found a good deal on the car I want.

ic, well, i guess i just got it easy, my parents arent rich, but they already bought me a car and an atv all in one year, and my mom says if i keep gettin good grades when school starts, the will pay for half of my next paintball gun, which will prolly be an 03 shocker, dependin on how much/ how good the nerves end up bein

yea, i went to sp's web page, it says that nerves will ship in june, and they got me an 03 pewter gmc sanoma{sp}, its not a huge truck, but hey, it was free. identical to this one, same color/model
