I was origanally planning on gettin an impulse. But the i found out that i will be making more money than what i thought. now i think i want a (blue)03 shocker. Think i should get the shocker or impulse? whats the shocker board capped at? What upgrades should i get on it (like brands ie. evil venturi bolt)? Thanks!!

**EDIT: does it come with a macroline? if it doesn't would i want 2 elbows or 1 elbow and 1 straight? (http://store.yahoo.com/xtremepaintba...olinekits.html)

go with the shocker... its capped at 20.

it comes with a macro.

upgrade wise i would get a clamping neck, rail, ndz snatch grip, freak back & inserts, and maybe a cp reg down the line

other than that, you wont really need anything. and those besides the freak back and cp reg, arent even performance. if you want, you could get a bolt kit, but its not needed unless you plan to shoot a lot of paint

are shocker + impulse parts interchangeable?

like if it says an impulse feed neck, would it fit a shocker?

**EDIT: it comes with a drop but it looks like its angled downward...does it actually go down or is it even? also pa17 is that a non-vision or vision?

it is angled... thats why i said to get a rail or somethin.

the only parts interchangable are feeds.

i liked the drop on mine. as far as interchangable parts with an impy about the only thing that is interchangable is the feed necks.

i've decided. i'm gunna go to my local shop and shoot one. i can't wait! gunna play a few more times with my cocker, before i sell it to get part of the money. i'm gettin a blue vision. Thanks for all your help guys!

If you are planning on Getting an 03' shocker which i HIGHLEY Suggest more then an impy, the first things you will want to look into is a Good Bored BArrel or Barrel system (if you always shoot 1 bore of paint, like a certain brand, then you can just buy 1 barrel in that bore). Then you will want to look into a Locking Feed neck. I would highly sugest you get a CCM No rise if you are running a Halo or Egg2 and a Mid rise for Revys. The next upgrade you will want to look into is a Rail or Uni-mount, then a CP reg and Bolt kit

If you play mid or back and shoot more then 3-4 pods a game, Deffinetly get a bolt kit first. then a good on/off, as the one the gun comes w/ sometimes releases small metal shavings.

Yep, you sure can, And the shocker is a great choice for a frontman. If you are usuing macroline, i suguest you use a LP tank b/c it will add to your consistancy, and Most macroline is rated 800 PSI, and does burst when u use HP tanks, But You can run HP tanks w/out ne problems. Look into maybe getting an 04' Inline maxflow,

It's all up to you, but to answer ur Question, Yes, you cn use a HP Tank on a shocker

If your getting an 03, then there should be the HE bolt in it already, thats if they are selling 03s off the wall. If not tell them to put one in, you can buy an 04 with HE at the same price. The bolt is a must no matter where you play. Some complain about the vert reg, no problems with me but I'm running an 04 Maxi as well to keep the air consistant. The AA barrel is fine for now I don't your level of playing..later you might what to upgrade...like the others say to the Freak system. No Revy dude Egg2 or Halo, and yes the feed needs to be changed

i have an egg2 no worrys. i'm only rookie, but my team is starting to get serious, only played in 1 tourney tho...what do you mean "off the wall"?

the new shockers do not come with the HE bolt in them. they come with the new updated bolt which is the same as the origanal bolt just made from aluminum. the HE bolt is a completly different design inside the fire chamber and the bolt itself.

Ripped off the guys...all the Shockers at home are sold with the HE bolt, Damn my O3 had one when I bought it..maybe it's the shop I go to..damn what do i know

vision isnt as good compared to break beams.... that doesnt mean it sucks. vision is a nice thing to have.

^^ I would not waste my money on Vision. Its not a good thing to have IMO. I had it and I know many people who have it on Shockers now..they dont even us it.

Dont get Vision.
