Wrap a lot of electrical tape around it and use a pair of channel locks to twist it off. That will save your paint surface

Then that leaves sticky residue. Just was your hands to get off all the oil, then grab on and twist to the left.

Well he could use friction tape but most people do not know what that is. You can clean of the residue if there is any afterwards. Spyder, why do you want to take it off? Getting a new neck?

Dude....just twist it with your hands....the threads are so small that if you apply to much force they will stripe.
