Yes but you need to get an anti-siphon tube installed on your tank.

Yea, If you do NOT have an anti-siphon tube in your tank then liquid C02 will enter the gun and really mess up your internals, leading to a costly repair. The Anti-siphon pretty much takes the air from the tank and filters it into the gun which makes The Tank much more consistent. If you are willling to spend the money I'd say get a Nitro tank. IMO i think Crossfire is the best but ask around and get people's opinions, then decide.

You also need an On/Off thingy, with the anti-siphon.

On/off valves for Impulses are no longer required. That is, if it is a newly made Impulse.

On the newer Impulses, Smart Parts has modified the pin in the ASA so that on/off's are not required.

Yes, you can run an Impulse on Co2. And yes, it will need to be anti-siphoned. These are tubes that are installed in your Co2 tank, and they are bent upward on an angle that will only allow the gas form of Co2 to be sucked in thru the valve to enter your marker. They are very cheap upgrades though, should only cost you about $20 for the tube, and proper installation by a certified airsmith.

on/off's are no longer necessary, neways, if your worried bout blowing the noid or anything just unscrew the reg cap so that when the tank is put in it barely gasses up, then proceed to gradually screw it in until you have reaced the desired regulator pressure, hope this helps save a few blown noids

Ya, before you gas it up, just turn the Maxi's OP down to lower than about 100psi, which is safe for the noid. That's about 6 turns or so. Then gas it up, and raise the OP to what you want, while shooting.

But another thing. The PRV (pressure release valve) is there for a reason. If the OP is turned up alot higher than it should be, the gas will spew out the PRV to help save the noid. But this can also "shock" the noid, but not blow it.
