2001 Shocker Problems...
My buddy has a 2001 shocker. Whenever he gets it to operating pressure, he shoots it, but then the pressure suddenly goes down. After a few seconds, it gets back up to operating pressure and is ready to shoot again. We have cleaned the entire gun, rebuilt the reg, and put in new seals. The nitro tank is full of air and works on other guns. Does anybody know what the problem might be?

make sure the tank is screwed in all the way. if thats not the problem then something is up with the reg. something is still dirty, or not lubed enough.

He uses a Crossfire. The macro lines are clear. We are taking it to an airsmith, but we are sure it's the reg. Thanks alot, though.

No, I don't think we do. We are just gonna take it to an airsmith to be sure. He is buyin a new shocker and don't wanna buy stuff he doesn't need to get it to work.

that type of thing happened to my imp.. i fixed it by turning the little black.. er.. nut? you would say? that tightens and loosens the reg, then turning it so it faces another direction. It worked fine. I really have no idea what reg the shocker has.. it might not even be close to the same.

We figured out it is the reg. We bypassed it today with an adjustable tank. Thanks for all the help.

This sounds to me like the regulator needs a very good cleaning. Clean the regulator and I would guess it will fix your problem. Also, if the reg needs cleaning... you may want to clean the guns internals at the same time.

We have stripped the gun and reg several times. Plus the guy who owned it before him didn' take care of it. He actually ran non-siphoned CO2 on it. Good thing he didn't pay much for it. Oh well, on to a new reg.
