Shocker, Gas Hog?

i was talking to one of my buddies i go ballin with and he got a 03 shocker vision and said it was a gas hog and he could only get one game out of a 68ci 4500 tank we checked the gun and tank for leaks but we werent sure if this is normal because niether of us have either checked out or shot a shocker only have expierience with impulses. so is it normal for a shocker to be a gas hog?

Sept 2004 PB2Xtremes did a review on a shocker and they say "They are lucky to to get about 1000 shots from a 68ci 4500psi bottle. they stongly recommend picking up a high efficiency kit for the shocker. The kit consists of a new firing chamber, new bolt guide and new bolt. Shot count is reputed to go up as high as 1400 shots for the same bottle capacity mentioned above".

Good topic, I just read about it, Hope that the above helps. For that matter I wish I had a shocker.

Wow.....your friend must have a leak/or his dwell and rof/recharge is horribly wrong. I got a hopper, and 4 pods from a 68/45 with like a 3500 psi fill....
