Bolt Trouble

I just got my new Impulse a few days ago, and I freakin hate this bolt. I can never get the pin in the right way. It's always too loose or so tight it won't move at all.

I can't get the gun to fire until I get this bolt in there right.

What am I doing wrong?

stock bolt? let me try it with mine.
i have the evil bolt and it just pops in easy...
EDIT: k i just tried it with the stock bolt. what i do is before i take the pin out, i put the bolt in the back most possition, so that the pin is as far back as possible, then i take the pin out and the bolt, do what ever i need and put the bolt back in. then i move the bolt around until the little pin hole is in the exact position as it was when i took it out, and i pop the pin back in...

Ok... This is kinda hard to explain without showing you in person. Basicly, What the bolt pin does is attach the bolt to the hammer...

When you put the bolt pin in, what you want it to do is hook up w/ the hammer.

To do this, pull the bolt and pin out and look down the slot of your impulse, You should see the hammer, And there should be a groove near the front of it, IF the hammer is near the front or middle of the slot, use an allen wrench, and carefully push it backwards until it doesn't move ne more.

Bnext, slide your bolt in until the hole the bolt pin goes into is near the back of the slot, then stick the bolt pin in. Now you should be set. Yo make sure everything is good, Gas your gun up and shoot it, If it doesn't shoot right, you got it in wrong.
