Cocker to Shocker?
well according to the little box up in the cornor of the screen i last visited on July 1st at 4:54 am. I havent played in about 2-3 months! This last friday i went to play and i did decent.
Currently i have a 03 Cocker with an E-blade and other upgraids.
My friend had gotten his gun stolen about the same time i stopped playing, and he bought a shocker. On Friday when we played, i just took his gun in the crono and shot it a bit and i loved the feel and everything.
My birthday is comin up and i was thinking that i would sell my current gun which i was hoping i could get at least 600 bucks for it if not 700-800. Then i would get a Shocker and get a z-board for my egg and ide be good to go.
I just wanted to know if there was anything more that i should know before going further with this idea. You know more about shockers and such. I plan on getting back into paintball alot, just like i was before.
I mean it almost seems like this gun has it all speed, great feel, price and good looks.

Shockers are great gun, you can't go wrong with them. You might wanna look into a high efficiency bolt kit, though. The stock shockers tend to be gas hogs. Make sure you get vision, too.
If you have any more questions just ask.

you might also want to spend the extra $150 to get vision, its well worth it. When i was trying out a shocker, i outshot an egg... never did that before until I tried the shocker.

ya
i was gonna get the orange to yellow fade ultimate vision shocker with the maxflo and the 68/4500 tank and possible a bolt, and i was gonna get a z-board for my egg so that it will feed like 23 bps so i wont outshoot that.

i would recomend a bolt kit+feedneck+trigger over getting a maxflow tank.

Sorry, but a z-boarded egg will not feed 23 bps. you will get 17-18 if you are lucky. I outshot a y-board with a claimed 17 bps on a non-vision Imp. Get the vision, and get a Halo B if ya can, you'll never look back.

Ya....Your paying an extra $375 for the tank and the fade. You already have the tank and i'm pretty sure you can call SP and ask them to have a custom fade anno done for you. That'll probally cost 50-100 bucks, then you have 325-275 left for a bolt kit, new trigger, new feedneck, a halo.

Don't get the ultimate kit, Keep ur current take and use that. Maxflows arn't the best on the market.
As for your setup, I doubt you will get $600-$700 for ur cocker. Since custom FF cockers are going for that Much, u'll probably gt around $450-$500 for that thing
But get a Basic Shocker w/ vision, Buy a uni-mount and keep ur current tank, Then buy a SP's High Efficency Bolt kit. and ur set
and i got a Z-boarded egg. Used it on my shocker when i had it, u won't get 23 BPS. TRUST ME, u will probably get around 17 on freshy batteries
Your best bet is to get a halo.
