Nasty Impulse Problems

Ok, you all know T-maxx? Well he bought a tricked nasty off of this guy.

Nasty Impulse.

He asked me if I could help in fix it.

He says the Imp was running fine, but then his hose started leaking at the fitting because it was crimped at the end. So he cut it trying to make it cleaner, and now it's too short. So he bought a new hose online, and it said Macroline on the site. So he gets the hose, and cuts it to fit. Now he says after that, without touching the rest of the gun at all, he gets bad gauge fluctuation.

I told him how to set up his imp right with an LPR, but he said he probably couldn't because it fluctuates so bad. Then I told him to clean his Gladiator reg, and he said he's not sure if you can take it apart to clean it.

Then he tells me that the new hose's hole is smaller than the old ones. He showed me pics, and the new one was smaller. So I thought one was Macro, and the other was Micro, and I told him that Micro restricts air flow to the gun.

I'm pretty sure that Imps come stock with macro, but I'm not sure since his is a nasty, and the previous owner had it for a long time, and he might have changed it.

So we start thinking that the hose is the problem.

I looked at the pics, and at my hose, and I'm pretty sure I have the one with the smaller hole which he said was macroline.

My gauge also fluctuates, and I can't seem to fix it.

Any help will be appreciated.

Microline needs a smaller fitting itself to work. Microline is the size of cocker tubing too.

The thing with whole sizes is that Some macroline is rated for higher PSI (like some is rated for 500 PSI, some 800, some 1,000) and thus the plastic will have to be thicker making the whole smaller

You can clean the gladiator. but i sugest you back the reg on the gladiator out all the way, then screw it back in

also, Pull the macroline off, and blow through it so there is no debris. Also clean the gladiator. and ur gun.

Also... clean the LPR.

then reset everything

So is the hole the problem, and it is restricting air flow, or it just doesn't matter what size the hole is, and it's not the problem?

And he'll clean the whole setup, and try it again.
