LPR.... Which one & are they worth it?
I'm thinking about spending the money on an LPR kit..
I know that Smart Parts has one, also there is a Function LPR (not sure if it's a kit though) and there's the New Desigz jackhammer LPR (not sure if it's a kit)..
Which one is the best one, and offers the best bang for the buck?
Also do I need to have my local PB store install this, or can I just simply unscrew my current tapeworm and cap, and screw this on in it's place. Hopefully this thing is "idiot" proof, as I certnly don't want to introduce something on my gun that can simply cause problems. I want to PLAY not spend my time trying to figure out what's wrong with the thing.
your thoughts 0?

I like my SP LPR Kit. It's great. very small.compact, but still pretty good looking. I'd recommend it.
All of the LPRs out there are all just about equal in performance.
And you just have to unscrew the old stuff, and screw in this, pretty simple. Then you need to set it up.

ok you want the new desingz, best stuff for impy, lpr. It is 100 but worth it. You keep your tapeworm, the tapeworm is cerperate. All you need to do is unscrew your old cap, screw on the new on and conect a line. I will post a pic in a minute of the nd lpr installed on a friends gun, it looks awesome
edit: pic is too large it won't let me attach sorry, it is on this forum somewere but sorry.

lprs are totally worth it...
go with a smart parts lpr kit... it looks a lot better than the new designz one, but they work about equally the same

the nd is better man. It doesn't have a worm but you don't need that anyway. the nd looks tighter, is smaller, and works better than the sp lpr kit.

the SP's LPR is smaller then the NDz one, and looks better on impulses
Also, there is a Stickie on the top of the SP's area that shows u how to install an LPR. It's the Technical thread by me, suft through it

are you on crack? lol
neither is "better" performance wise, the ndz doesnt work better... they are the same exact thing put into a different body. and like bunkertime said... the sp is smaller and looks better.

But when your low on cash looks do not matter. Since they do the same job and looks are the only difference I would go with the ND one only because it is $30 cheaper.
If you got the extra $ go with the SP, but it really doesn't matter.

I have tried both lpr's I had a little bit of trouble with the ans jackhammer II, it would be consistent for a couple of pods, but then the front knob lock would seem to release, and then the problems would start. When I went to world cup last year, I purchased the SP LPR and they installed it at their tech trailer. I can honestly say that I have never had to touch my settings since. It is a great LPR. I can't say that NDZ makes a bad product, but they did kind of cheat in this one.

www.smartparts.com has all their LPRS
and LPR & tapeworm are 2 differnt things and can't be used in combination. think of an LPR as an adjustable tapeworm.
