Hey i was just wondering what the smart valve does and where do u screw it onto?

hey man:

The smart valve is valve(of course) that you put onto your Co2 bottle instead of the valve that comes stock on it. The smart valve also comes with an on-off to turn your air supply on and off.

If you dont kno what you are doing to install it, i suggest taking it to ur local proshop and having them do it. Here's a pic for ya.

um i would think if he doesn't know what it is that he just have a proshop do it, buy it there and for like 3 bucks they put it on.

My son bought one for his A-5 Tippy.. He thought it was cool, so we picked one up for $15.00.. It simply goes "inline" between your tank and the thread part at the bottom of the grip.

Be careful it adds about an Inch in length to the gun. If you don't link shooting "shotgun" still don't get it. (hopefully you know what I mean by that).

U are thinking of the Other thing SP's has that Screws onto your stock valve to make it an on/off

This replaces the vavle itself on the CO2 tank. and you need an airsmith to professionaly install it for you.

yeah this one isn't a inline. It is male to male not male to female. Anyway dude i rememebr a story about some kid that put a as in his tank and it came off and kided a lady. HAVE A SMITH DO IT!

Actually at a recent big game, the Smart Parts vender told me that they no longer sell this part do to the "Saftey Issues" that you mentioned above.

yeah i heard they took them off the market cause of the accident. i thikn its good all the safety issues being brought up and addressed now. even though it took something as drastic as that.
