What a bad day...

Bad day for the Imp. Well, I just put in WAS, and was ready to lay some ropes down. It had other plans.

Well, I fill my tank and put the halo on, thew a quick line of balls to make sure everything was working, and it was. Well during the ten second countdown, I still had my doubts, it being new and all. So off the break I shot like almighty hell, then I get a chop, then about 2 more good shots I get about 15 chops in a row. I get to my bunker and squeegee, thinkin they were bustin in the barrel. I come out the right side and start layin it down. Out of 25 or so shots, 2 balls actually leave my barrel. So after that, I decided it wasn't gonna work.

After the game, I take the bolt out and clean everything. I shoot a few without the barrel, and had all chops. None of them were because of double feeding. I'm almost positive when I put in WAS, the hole you cut for the eye couldn't be any smoother. Sharpied the raw metal and everything. So I take my eye out to clean it, and after I do, it still isn't acting right. It would shoot whether it read something or not. I look at the board and there is no paint on it at all. Changed batteries, reset board, still no luck. As of right now it still is messed up.

I tried both eye modes, no luck. Tried turning dwell down, no luck.

Here's my setup if it helps:

...Nasty Impulse
WAS
CCM No-Rise
Halo B
White delrin bolt
Brass hammer
Ti pull pin
SS ramshaft
Tapeworm
Vert maxxy
SP non-vision ball detents
PE 68/4500

I'm just kinda pissed off I have a nice Imp, and had to use my Tippy all day.

Any help is very greatly appreciated.

Tried turning the eye off, still didn't work. I'd like to fix it myself insted of taking it to my local pb store. The owner is a dickhead and hates SP guns, so he'll half-ass it like he does everything else.

check your bolt to see if theres any sharp edges on it i doubt it because it started happening right when you got was. hmm theres probaby a sharp edge were you put the eye in. does it chop when you shoot like one ball at a time? now that i think of it it might be your dwell or maxflow.

Adjusted dwell and max-flo. Chamber and bolt feel smooth.

Tried Heat, Gameface, and Marballizers. All chopped like a mofo. So how many shims and on what side is it supposed to be.

I believe ur supposed to put like 5-6 shims under the Vision side detent when u install was so the detent doesn't poke through too much

It says to put them on if you use vision detents. Mine are non-vision. I'll try it tommorow anyway.
