High School Classmate Olympic Prospect
Well, years ago i posted a thread about a man named Michael Bowden who was a senior as i was a freshmen. Currently He plays AA baseball and he was drafted into the Boston Red Sox straight out of high school. Looking at scouting reports over the years after he was drafted he's doing great and is a constant winner of awards such as red sox player of the month, pitcher of the month, minor league player of the year, etc...
Well since he's still playing AA ball with a possibility of breaking into the big leagues somewhere between '09 and '10, he's not technically registered under a professional team, nor has a played for a professional team. Seeing as the few that are considered playing above him in the roster have already been called up to the big show, it leaves Bowden as a top candidate for the U.S. Olympic Baseball Team.
Pretty crazy huh!?
tldr; heres a longer article Bowden on the radar for Olympics :: Beacon News :: Sports

Thats sweet, I love baseball.
A female friend of mine is amazing at volleyball. She just got back from puerto rico where she was playing for a junior olympic team. She was one of the 12 chosen out of like 3000 girls. I won't be surprised at all if she is in the olympics when shes older.

My teacher taught an olympic gymnast who took the gold about 8 or so years ago, I thought it was pretty neat.

Not a clue, this was all in the 3rd grade, I am a stoner and in the 11th so naturally my memory of then is zilch. I know she was black, that much I remember.

I know Danny Kass and ride with him frequently. He's an olympic snowboarder.
My boss used to be on the Turkey Olympic Soccer team. He has two medals at home, and he wasn't a bench warmer. He was a top contributer to the team. Then he shattered his ankle and came to America to make a new life.

My old roomate was 10th in the decathalon at the Oly Trials, and I had another friend from high school track who was 10th in the 1500m Oly Trials this year, and a few other friends that made it as well but didn't do so hot. Guess I'm well connected in the track community
