Have had a spider special edition for many years now. I have gotten many good uses out of it, but the last time i tried to use the gun misfires. It seems to be double cocking every time the trigger is pulled, usually shooting one ball and breaking another with one pull of the trigger. I have taken gun apart and cleaned and all looks fine. Also changing velocity does not help. I do not know much about PB guns but maybe someone out there could help.

Agreed, oiling your marker will probably solve the issue. Use paintball specific or airtool oil. If that doesn't help it, check the striker o-ring, you'll probably have to replace it. And if that doesn't help it, it's probably your sear that's worn and you might need to replace it.

But try oiling it first, it solves those kinds of problems in most instances.
