"After much discussion, the Zelda development team has requested extra time to add new levels, more depth and even higher quality to Zelda: Twilight Princess," said Nintendo of America's vice president of corporate affairs, Perrin Kaplan. "Consequently, we're announcing a new global launch in 2006, after the conclusion of this fiscal year (March 31). We'll provide a specific date at a later point in time. While this may come as a disappointment to many eager fans, it will absolutely enrich the game and make it a multi-million seller."

Any reactions? Personally, I've got mixed feelings here. While I know it'll make TP a better game, I can't help but think this is a bad business move because people will buy other stuff during the delay but it would make the game tons better In anycase, God help Nintendo if this game ends up sucking.

I'll still buy a gamecube just to play this game when it comes out though.

I think it is a bad move. A lot of people already had the game reserved and were anticipating it, and now they have to wait quite a bit longer for it. Nintendo always seems to do stuff like this tho. They need to learn to anticipate deadlines a little more, because almsot everything they do gets delayed.

very true...And another thing bad about nintendo is that they always get the best games out right before the system dies out so theirs no point in buying their new system at the beginning because you'll be baragged by a long series of crappy games.

yep. by that time nobody will touch thier gamecubes anymore...wait, does anybody even play them now? they pretty much sucked. I was pissed i sold mine cuz of this game, but this makes me feel a lot better.

I believe I have around 6 games for my gamecube. I have all the good games, which is all I need since I barely play it. I mean I got my gamecube for $50 so why not? My PS2 was $50 too. And I bought it right after my friend gave me $50 for my barmitzvah. I just gave him the $50 back lol.

They didnt suck at all. I have about 30 games for mine almost all of which I have pleyed a lot, and liked. I love all the nintendo classics like mario kart, zelda, super mario, and all the others. Not to mention Resident Evil 4 which owns almost all other RPG shooters ever made...I also LOVE the wireless wavebird controller. It owns all other controller out there right now, but the same kind of thing will be used on all the next gen systems.

Most of the stuff for the other systems that isnt out for the gamecube I can get for pc and play easier, or go to a friends house and play there, but most games are ported for all three, so the options stay pretty much the same gamewise.

The gamecube has been probably the weakest nintendo main console but it's still what I like over my other systems (I have all 3, bought the gamecube when it first came out, got the ps2 for free, bought broken xbox for 20bucks and fixed it). They may not have rare and people like that anymore but let's face it, what has rare came out with that's truly good, not just decent, on this generation of systems? Nothing really, I mean it's been ok but not great like goldeneye, jet force gemini, perfect dark, etc. And metroid prime, super smash bros melee, mario kart dd, wind waker, and a lot of other games are very good.
